Moon in the Window 2024 is DRAP's mineral-driven interpretation of Riesling, sourced from vineyards in Germany near Mannheim and just across the border in northern Alsace. Whole-cluster semi-carbonic maceration gives the wine an unexpected lift and texture, while long ageing in oak barrels adds depth without masking the precision of the fruit.
Origin: Germany & France (near Mannheim and northern Alsace) Grapes: 100% Riesling Style: Rich, mineral white Year: 2024 Alcohol: 11.2% Vinification: Handpicked Riesling undergoes approximately 26 hours of whole-cluster semi-carbonic maceration before pressing. Fermentation takes place in 220L oak barrels, followed by around 15 months of ageing and several additional months of bottle rest. Bottled unfiltered, without additives.
Aromas of citrus zest, ripe orchard fruit and white flowers are layered with wet stone, subtle spice and a saline edge. The brief whole-cluster maceration adds texture and aromatic complexity, while the long élevage brings harmony and length without sacrificing freshness.
Moon in the Window is a beautifully restrained Riesling that balances precision with texture. A natural companion to oysters, grilled fish, roast chicken or dishes where bright acidity and mineral tension can truly shine.

WHAT TYPE OF GROWERS WE WORK WITH
OIur wines are a reflection of nature's truest form. We partner only with biodynamic vineyards—places where vines are nurtured with a reverence for the earth and a deep respect for natural rhythms. These vineyards view the soil not as a means to an end but as a living, breathing ecosystem. By working in harmony with the land, they cultivate wines that are as alive as the soils they spring from.
Our wines hold the pure expression of the vine, untouched by chemical interference and guided by the wisdom of traditional methods. Each bottle carries an honest snapshot of its origin: the seasons, the hands that tended the vines, and the character of the soil itself. These are wines with a pulse, honest and unapologetic, offering a taste of nature in its unaltered state.
