Evening Glare 2023 is one of DRAP's most experimental wines, bringing together fruit from Belgium, France and Germany into a single evolving blend. Combining direct-pressed and skin-macerated wines, it blurs the line between rosé, orange, white and light red. Rather than following a fixed recipe, the wine develops gradually as fresh pressings are added over time, creating remarkable depth and complexity.
Origin: Belgium (Limburg), France (Alsace) & Germany (Baden & Mosel) Grapes: Megamix (blend of all 2023 grape varieties) Style: Rosé, orange, white & light red blend Year: 2023 Alcohol: 11.5% Vinification: A blend of direct-pressed and skin-macerated wines. The first pressings are transferred to oak barrels, with fresh juice added throughout harvest, extending the primary fermentation. Aged for 16 months in ex-Pinot Noir and ex-Chardonnay Burgundy barrels. Handpicked, bottled unfiltered, with no additives.
