A beautifully vibrant Pinot Noir from Johan "Stompie" Meyer of Mother Rock, Cuvée Carbonic is a fresh and playful take on one of the world's most elegant grape varieties. Crafted in Elgin using a carefully controlled carbonic fermentation, this wine combines bright, crunchy fruit with the classic earthy character of Pinot Noir. The result is energetic, expressive, and irresistibly drinkable.
Origin: Elgin, South Africa Grapes: 100% Pinot Noir Style: Juicy, vibrant, and elegantly carbonic red Alcohol: 12.5% Vinification: Whole bunch carbonic fermentation under CO₂, free-run and conventionally fermented juice blended together, aged for 11 months in concrete, minimal intervention.
Expect aromas of wild strawberries, red plum, sour cherry, blood orange, earthy mushrooms, and a touch of sweet spice. Silky tannins and bright acidity keep the wine light on its feet while the fruit lingers beautifully on the finish.
A Pinot Noir that perfectly balances seriousness with pure drinkability—serve slightly chilled and watch the bottle disappear.

WHAT TYPE OF GROWERS WE WORK WITH
OIur wines are a reflection of nature's truest form. We partner only with biodynamic vineyards—places where vines are nurtured with a reverence for the earth and a deep respect for natural rhythms. These vineyards view the soil not as a means to an end but as a living, breathing ecosystem. By working in harmony with the land, they cultivate wines that are as alive as the soils they spring from.
Our wines hold the pure expression of the vine, untouched by chemical interference and guided by the wisdom of traditional methods. Each bottle carries an honest snapshot of its origin: the seasons, the hands that tended the vines, and the character of the soil itself. These are wines with a pulse, honest and unapologetic, offering a taste of nature in its unaltered state.
